A conversation on multiperspectivity

Dear Facilitators,

Welcome to the second newsletter from The Facilitators in 2026! As we continue our exploration of multiperspectivity, we turn to the wisdom of diverse experiences to help you grasp the nuances of this skill.

A conversation with practitioners

We invited two practitioners for a regenerative conversation on multiperspectivity to contextualise this skill and understand its relevance for facilitators, weavers, and stewards at a time of intense polarisation and deep fragmentation in society. It was a deeply enriching – at times raw – conversation and we hope you will find it beneficial to listen to.

Chisom Udeze is an award-winning economist, leadership strategist, and creator of the “identity-context-power” clarity framework. Through her consulting firm, Diversify Consult, she and her team work with global institutions on culture and organisational change. Chisom also writes a weekly newsletter leveraging insights from the Three Clarities Framework and has her own podcast called “Overnight Wisdom”.

Luea Ritter is a transformative process designer and steward, systemic coach and action researcher. Luea stewards Collective Transitions, an action-learning hub dedicated to building shared capacities for fostering and maintaining transformational shifts. She is a vital driver of the WorldEthicForum, where she co-stewards the Firekeeper Circle processes and the participatory action research.

Key takeaways

  • Multiperspectivity is a fluid, deeply embodied practice that invites you to consider different ways of knowing. It requires humility and care and helps re-weave the social fabric that feels so fragile today.
  • Transparency about power is a critical element when holding space for multiperspectivity: Who is invited to talk and why? Who holds the ultimate decision-making power? What are your expectations as the facilitator?
  • A couple of invitations: consider giving up power to centre the most marginalised voices and stay with discomfort while continuing to learn.
