Find a facilitator

Over the years, our community has grown to count 100 facilitators from all over the world. What is unique about us is that we are both changemakers and skilled facilitators. We are trained in both online and in-person facilitation and are ready to lead anything from 2-hour online conversations to 5-day retreats.

Our facilitation philosophy

We are not only skilled facilitators, but also changemakers who have founded, co-lead or been part of social and/or environmental initiatives. Our lived experience in creating positive social impact uniquely equips us to support others on a similar journey.

FAQs

How can you hire the facilitators?

There are three main approaches to hire the facilitators depending on your willingness and availability to invest time in the recruitment process.

  1. You identify the profiles that might be fitting. You contact us to inquire if they are available. If there is a match, we will introduce you to them. If not, we suggest suitable alternatives.
  2. You reach out to us outlining the needs of your gathering. We share the opportunity with the facilitators and invite them to express their interest via your application form. You select them and inform us of your decision so we can facilitate the introduction.
  3. The same as the previous one but we take care of the application and selection process (instead of you). Once we identify suitable matches, we present them to you and if you are in agreement, we facilitate the introduction.

Please note that all approaches include a modest hiring fee that is paid to ChangemakerXchange gGmbH for taking care of the recruitment process.

How far in advance shall you contact us?

The earlier the better to ensure the facilitators are available on your chosen dates and have plenty of time to align with you and prepare adequately. Generally, we advise you to contact us at least 2 months before for shorter engagements and at least 3–6 months before for longer and more intensive engagements (especially if they require travelling abroad). Sometimes it might be possible to match facilitators at short notice but we cannot guarantee the same level of intentional care we devote to the recruitment process.

How much are the facilitators paid?

The compensation depends on the type of engagement, your budget, as well as the seniority and location of the facilitator(s) you aim to recruit. Depending on the complexity of the engagement, we may suggest an overall fee for the service. Please note that a modest hiring fee is paid to ChangemakerXchange gGmbH for taking care of the recruitment process.
