I build safer spaces where people stop performing and start connecting. And I’ve been doing this for 15 years, across 30+ cultures: from corporate teams and public events, to rooms for displaced youth denied access to education, to a circle of parents trying to find their way forward after an online bullying incident that ended in tragedy, to women in career transition whose coaches sent them my way. While the rooms look very different, the need to meaningfully connect is the same.
I’m the founder of Kontakt Kollektiv, a social enterprise that equips people working towards belonging in their communities and organisations with what they need to go further.
11,000+ people were impacted through spaces I’ve designed, collaboration with organisations like SAP, Ashoka, and UNHCR. The Kollektiv’s programmes and events have a consistent safety and inclusion score of 9.3/10. I feel at home holding a room of 200 (like at the Ashoka event) and sitting with a group of four (like many events). The intimate work where people name what’s unspoken, repair what feels broken, and find shared direction, is where I’m most in my element, and what gives me the true sense of fulfilment.
My facilitation journey started at AIESEC, where, as part of an international team, I was designing leadership and diversity programmes for 50,000+ members across 110+ countries. And it deepened with UNHCR in Malaysia, where I built capacity-building spaces for displaced youth. That’s where I’ve learnt that genuine connections need both safety AND courage, never one without the other. Today, I facilitate community leadership for underrepresented founders through the Human Connector Incubator, train psychological safety facilitators through the Human Connector Academy, and I’m writing a book on othering and belonging in a disconnected world.
