Kenya

I am a lead facilitator at Somo and have been a freelance facilitator with the Training Centre in Communication (TCC Africa) at the University of Nairobi since 2019. Over the years, I have designed and facilitated numerous in-person and online learning sessions and supported social impact leaders. I have also facilitated and supported community of practice CoP convenings organized by the Obama Foundation and Robert Bosch Alumni Network members, where I have worked closely with social innovators to co-create meaningful dialogues, collaborative spaces, and action-oriented outcomes across sectors and countries.

Beyond facilitation, I am the co-founder of Somo, a social enterprise and non-profit organization focused on empowering young people, especially girls and young women, from under-served communities with future-ready and employability skills, and matching them with economic opportunities.

Through my change making journey, I have been recognized as a Obama Foundation Leader and a Mandela Washington Fellowship Fellow, which reflects my commitment to ethical leadership, community empowerment, and systems-level change across Africa.

Here are a few words that capture my work and practice: #facilitator #trainer #learningdesigner #communityweaver #educationinnovator #youthdevelopment#socialimpact
