Fabrice Chubaka Muchiga
(he/him)Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya
I am a seasoned facilitator, systems change strategist, and Founder of the Africa Peace Initiative. At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: when people feel seen, included, and connected to something larger than themselves, transformation becomes possible. My superpower is creating those spaces, spaces where collective energy turns into clarity, courage, and action. Whether in boardrooms, classrooms, or conflict zones, I help groups move from fragmentation to shared purpose.
My journey into facilitation began in 2016 as a social entrepreneur working alongside Ashoka and ChangemakerXchange. What started as an instinct, guiding youth entrepreneurs through bootcamps and collaborative processes , quickly grew into a calling. After formal training in 2018, I began designing what I call “process architectures”: intentional experiences that enable deep participation, honest reflection, and collective vision-building. Since then, I have facilitated across Africa and Europe, accompanying leaders and communities through moments of uncertainty, growth, and systemic change.
Today, facilitation is the heartbeat of my professional life. As Network Engagement Director at Teach For All, I design learning journeys and strategic conversations that empower education leaders to confront inequality at scale. As Founder of the Africa Peace Initiative, I bring that same craft into the peacebuilding space , bridging high-level diplomacy with grassroots resilience, convening diverse actors across divides, and transforming dialogue into trust, and trust into action. From regional peace dialogues in the Great Lakes to leadership forums like the Bosch Alumni Network, I have witnessed how the right space, held with care and intention, can unlock extraordinary breakthroughs.
Over the years, I have partnered with global organisations, governments, innovators, and communities , from GIZ, Ashoka, and International Alert to UN agencies, youth networks, and women-led movements. Across these contexts, my role remains constant: to help people listen more deeply, think more systemically, and act more collaboratively. I have facilitated processes in diplomacy and mediation, entrepreneurship and innovation, gender justice and community healing , always guided by the conviction that sustainable solutions are co-created, not imposed.
My work is grounded in four pillars: collaboration and peer learning, values-based leadership, wellbeing and trauma-informed care, and systems thinking. Together, they help teams navigate complexity and find leverage points for lasting change. Ultimately, my mission is simple yet ambitious: to accompany leaders and communities as they build the futures they long for , futures rooted in dignity, peace, and shared humanity.
