Canada

Hi! I’m Nicole. I’m a service designer and facilitator who is passionate about sustainability and social impact.

I run Sol Design Lab- a collective of professionals who work to solve environmental and social challenges in Toronto, Canada. I also run Colour in Climate – a space for women and non-binary changemakers of Colour in Canada to meet, build genuine connections, and feel truly valued.

A little about me personally… I’m from a multi-faith, multi-cultural family with Sri Lankan and Ashkenazi ancestry. I speak 3 languages and am privileged to have lived, worked, and played in 25+ countries! My personal superpower is my ability to see the world through multiple (sometimes conflicting) lenses and help others have more compassionate and perspective-expanding conversations. Growing up in communities of different backgrounds, religions, politics, and values means I appreciate empathetic, curious, and open-minded dialogue. I think we need more of it in the world – especially in climate justice.
