The wait is over… the bonus Facilitation Newsletter we teased you about last month is finally here! Can you spot anything different?
New corporate identity & branding
Yes, that’s right! At the beginning of this year, we took the strategic decision to invest in the creation of a dedicated corporate identity and branding for all our facilitation work, which is getting more and more interest from all around the world. In collaboration with Rainbow Unicorn (the same folks behind the ChangemakerXchange and The Possibilists CI & branding), we are pleased to introduce you to a new look for our facilitation work.
What’s different?
- First and foremost, we have rebranded this pillar of our work from ‘Facilitators for Change’ to ‘The Facilitators’. Our ambition is to become the go-to partner for foundations, non-profit organisations, and social impact networks for all facilitation services. You can see our new logo in the header of the newsletter.
- Second, we have a new colour palette with more earthy and grounded colours compared to ChangemakerXchange’s bright colours. You can see them throughout this newsletter.
- Third, we have a unique key visual that captures the essence of facilitation – the convening of diverse elements and the fluid intertwinement between them. You can see this just above this section.
- Fourth, we have two new fonts and five shape mask images, each for one of our facilitation services. You can see them… on our brand-new website!
We hope you resonate with this new identity and feel that it is representative of the intentionality and care we put in our facilitation work!
New website
Yes, you read correctly! Today we are also launching a brand-new website: www.thefacilitators.org. There we outline the variety of offline and online facilitation services we offer, available globally and adapted to our partners’ unique needs.
What services do we offer?
- Facilitator recruiting: We have access to our 100 experts (our beloved Global Facilitation Pool that many of you are part of), and we can help our partners recruit and onboard the right people to achieve the purpose of their gatherings.
- Facilitation training: We are expanding our training offer on facilitation, collective impact, and community building. Keep reading as we have another exciting announcement on this…
- Facilitation consulting: We help our partners seek clarity for their strategy processes, design engaging meeting agendas for their conferences, and curate participatory activities for their communities through bespoke consulting.
- Facilitation knowledge: We create both open-source and customised knowledge resources to equip our partners to facilitate spaces, people, and processes in empowering and impactful ways.
We are also working on an updated map showcasing all our facilitators, but if you have any feedback for us on your user experience navigating our website, we’d be happy to receive it!
New facilitation training
Here comes the third exciting announcement! After offering our in-person facilitation trainings for members of the CXC Global Facilitation Pool only, we’re now ready to open it up to the world! Supported by Fondazione Cariplo, we are hosting an in-person facilitation training for climate leaders in Europe on 14–19 July 2025 in Italy.
What is it about?
- The 5-day training is for 20 climate ecosystem builders in Europe and it will be hosted at Casa del Parco Adamello, a regenerated space at 1100mt immersed in the Adamello mountain nature reserve which hosts Italy’s largest glacier.
- It is crafted around the ChangemakerXchange anchors of human connection, peer-learning, collaboration, and wellbeing.
- It provides you with a stimulating and engaging space to unlearn and relearn about facilitation, to explore several facilitation models, methodologies, and formats, and to develop key facilitation competencies and skills and receive feedback on your progress.
